The Norwegian Church is to be present with the church ship,”Adella”, during the Arendal week (Arendalsuka) from the 13th to 17th of August.

On board the beautiful sailing boat there will be a program from morning to evening to show some of the diversity in the work by the Norwegian church.

“Arendalsuka is Norway’s largest political meeting place. The church ship will be a meeting place open to everyone,’’ said communications director, Ingeborg Dybvig, of the Church Council of the Norwegian Church. Below is a small excerpt of some of what is happening on (and around) the church ship at Arendalsuka. In addition, there are mini-concerts, four bishops will meet people over a cup of coffee, a nightclub and much more.

The entire program is available at kirkeskipet.no, and in Arendalsukas program overview on arendalsuka.no.
