A British health committee called for digital hygiene by stopping using social media in September.

The Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH) is behind the campaign.

Use September to develop a healthier and more balanced relationship with social media said RSPH, which encouraged people not to cut social media altogether, but at least to stay away from social media when they are with friends and family.

Therefore, listen to the music when you are at a concert.Enjoy the food when you are at a restaurant. Do not spoil it by stressing over the next post!

The campaign is supported by the health service in England, which is concerned about how social media can affect the mental health of young people.

Social media is associated with the risk of anxiety and depression,as well as a negative body image, bullying online, and sleep problems.
