Norwegian film top prize in Canada

Aslaug Holm movie “Brothers” was named best international documentary and won $ 10,000 during the festival Hot Docs in Canada, reports the Hollywood Reporter.

Also nationally have Holm received considerable attention, including Amanda for best director last year. The film is a result of prolonged work, as Holm has followed his own sons, Luke and Mark, for eight years.
Even filmmaker described “Brothers” as a life project, where she filmed sons over 450 hours since they were respectively five and eight years old. Her husband Tore Buvarp has produced the film.
Hot Docs is North America’s largest documentary festival and held from 28 April to 8 May, writes the Hollywood Reporter.
