Police have made thorough preparations for the Justin Bieber’s two concerts in Telenor Arena this weekend. The hope is to avoid the chaos that has characterized the singer’s previous visits.

The Canadian pop star will hold a concert in Telenor Arena at Fornebu both Friday and Saturday. Police have set up additional manpower.

During his previous visit the pop star singer had an episode that many still believe was a cunning publicity stunt “all PR is good PR,” while others believe it was probably a reflection of the artist’s prima donna-whims.

Two young girls spilled water on stage during a recital in Chateauneuf, which led to Bieber walking off the stage in a rage after having performed only one song.

Error calculated

During the star’s first visit to Norway four years ago, when he gave a free concert on a stage on the waterfront at the opera house in Oslo, miscalculations for necessary police were made no one expected the tremendous interest in the idol.

Over 20,000 fans showed up and there was total chaos in the city center. Many had to go to the emergency room, and was treated on site by Red Cross volunteers after a stampede.

The following year, when Bieber visited Telenor Arena for the first time, it went better. And in front of the concerts this year police have prepared well by being present on a Bieber concert in Berlin earlier this month.
