Is the Queen at home and cooking Dinner? This is one of the many greetings that were left behind in the two cottages that stood behind the Palace in connection with the royal couple’s 25th Anniversary.

The question from Gabriel in three years is one of the many greetings that Queen Sonja was handed over at the Palace Tuesday.

Over 28,000 people visited the two cottages “Hovinkoia” and “Skåpet” which were placed into the Castle Park in connection with the celebration of the royal couple’s 25 years on the throne.

The huts were set up by the Norwegian Tourist Association (DNT) and stood in Slottsparken – for the occasion renamed Jubilee Park – from 13 June to 4 September.

People who visited the cottages could leave a message in the cottage books, and these books are the queen were handed by DNT chairman Kjøll and General Secretary Nils Øveraas.

Besides little Gabriel’s greeting, enough was passed with a pen by an adult, there were many visitors both from Norway and abroad who wrote a greeting to the royal couple in the guest books.
