Worship not necessarily strengthening faith

A majority of respondents in a survey said they feel included in the church, but only a minority said that the service strengthened their faith.

40 percent of the 2,517 believers and non-believers who participated in a survey for Norstat conducted in the Diocese of Borg have stated that they have been to church in the past year, according to Aftenposten.
While 61 percent of respondents stated that they feel included in the church, however only answer 36 percent said the service strengthens their faith.

Bishop Atle Sommerfeldt in the Diocese of Borg believes that it is very problematic.
– Our aim is that people should hear and believe in the Christian message, so we will work to challenge people to see how nice it is to believe, he said to the newspaper.
The 17-year-old also travelled last year with the capital club’s summer tour. It was during Australia’s visit he got his first start when Rome was playing in Melbourne.
