Norwegian student organization (NSO) is very pleased with the budget agreement reached on Saturday night, and believes the focus on 300 additional student housing is happy news for the country’s students.
Høyre, the Progress Party, the Christian Democrats and the Liberals envisage that in 2017 subsidies will be granted for a total of 2,500 new student housing.
– NSO are very pleased that the Liberals and Christian Democrats have negotiated 300 more student housing along with the government.
In recent years we have had high awards to student housing, and this budget agreement has strengthened our focus even further, says NSO leader Marianne K. Andenæs.
NSO is a national organization for 33 different student democracies at Norwegian universities and colleges and encompasses a total of 230,000 students.
