More go to private schools to finish highschool

An increasing number are using private tutoring to complete high school. According to figures from the Private schooling Company Sonans.

52 percent of candidate students at private school Sonans have general admission, and students being admitted are getting older. In recent years the number of students over 29 years old has increased by 15 percent

– We note high demand and receive more inquiries from people who want general admission. It is noted that education is more important than ever to get a job, says Marit Aamold Sundby, strategy and marketing director at Sonans education to Klassekampen.

The education chain has gained 9 percent more students in the last two years and Åmold Sundby says that the preliminary figures indicate that the increase will be even bigger this year.
