Nearly 200 law students at the University of Tromsø who graduated in early May must now retake their exams because it turns out that part of the task was revealed an hour early.

On Friday, Students received information that exam they took on 6 May, has been canceled, writes newspaper iTromsø.
“Someone had filed a complaint that there had been procedural errors during the examination, and it was this appeal that was treated today. The Appeals Board ruled that the exam would be canceled,” said study director Hilde Adolfsen at the Faculty of Education at the University of Tromsø Norway Arctic university.

The mistake occured an hour before the exam, when students showed up to have their books and computers checked. One or more of the students managed to spot parts of an exam.
“This is awkward for both us and the students, and we must set up a new examination as soon as possible. Nevertheless, it is an unfortunate fact that mistakes can happen, and the complaint has been treated properly,” says Adolfsen.
