There is no possibility for a summer job for police students in Asker and Bærum year. The police can not afford any.

In 2015  four students had summer jobs in Asker and Bærum,  Budstikka writes.
– We can not afford to bring in students from the Police Academy as summer temps. I think it’s very sad. Instead, the staff must take extra shifts this summer. I think this is the case in many of the police districts in Norway,  deputy  comissioner of police, Terje Nybø, said.
However, he stresses that the merger with Oslo police means that police in Asker and Baerum now will be strengthened with operational resources from Oslo in the summer months.
