The government proposes expanding the right to join a kindergarten from the age of one  to include children born in September and October.Today  only children that are born within 31. August that have this right.
The current rules means that children born later in the autumn might not get day care until they’re nearly two years. On Monday the Government sends the proposal to extend this right to children born in september and October on a hearing, the Ministry of education told NTB.
This means that children born in September and October 2015 will be entitled to join a kindergarten in autumn 2016. The amendment will provide about 9,600 additional one year olds right to join a kindergarten the year they turn one year.
