150 employees will lose their jobs at Rolls-Royce in Norway as a result of difficult times in the offshore industry. The majority of those affected, work in More og Romsdal.
The employees were told during a meeting on Thursday and the cuts seem to be evenly distributed in the places where the company has departments, according to NRK news.
– Those who lose their jobs, come from different parts of the organization. Many of them are managers and  in the administrative staff,  communications director Annette Bonnevie Wollebæk says.

Before the recent downsizing Rolls-Royce has had around 2,000 employees in Norway – most of them in Møre og Romsdal, where the company have departments in Ulsteinvik, Hareid and Haram. There are Rolls-Royce departments in Hordaland as well, but according to NRK, the largest number of cuts will be in Møre og Romsdal.
In 2015  300 jobs in Rolls-Royce in Norway disappeared, which equals half of the jobs being cut globally.
