200 million NOK for new E18 in west of Oslo

Government will spend NOK 200 million on the new E18 at west of Oslo.

– These budget shows that the governments are serious and expecting a full progress, says Transport Minister.

Budget shortage was presented at Høvik station in Baerum Sunday afternoon for the people including Municipal and modernization Minister Jan Tore Sanner and Transport Minister Ketil Solvik-Olsen , writes Budstikka.

The money will be spent for redemption of housing on the area from Lysaker to Ramstadsletta.

– Some have tried to create uncertainty about what Oslo Package 3 means for E18. These millions show that the government is serious and that there is expectation for full progress of the project, says transport minister.

He stressed that the government would develop the entire zone from Lysaker to Drengsrud in Asker, but will not make any promises about when work can begin.
