Nav reports that Rogaland is still the county hit hardest. In that county, over 1,900 people were given notice of layoffs or dismisals in February.
Most of the possible layoffs and dismissals are still in oil and oil-related activities, but the largest increase in February were in the fields of finance and research .
– We still get many notices about possible layoffs or dismissals, and the figures indicate that we will see a continued rise in unemployment,  Labor and Welfare Director Sigrun Vågeng said.
Aust-Agder and Oslo are counties that experience the greatest increase in the number of notices of possible  layoffs and dismissals from January to February.
The latest figures show a halving in the number of notices of layoffs from January to February, while 400 more notices of  dismissals were recorded in the second month  than in January.
Only companies that are planning to terminate or lay off a minimum of ten employees have to notify Nav.
