Another 250 employees will have to leave their jobs at the oil service company Beerenberg.
These cuts are in addition to a another, similar downsizing which was announced in September.
This meanst that Beerenberg has to cut a total of 500 positions, according to Sysla.
The latest downsizing is due to overcapacity following the completion of a new building project in the spring this year.
The company announced in September that it had to get rid of 250 employees because it did not get a contract at Ekofisk worth NOK 400 million per year renewed.
– The market is still very challenging, and there are no indications that the decline will slow in the coming periods, communications manager Ole Klemsdal says.
