After Nordea Bank lowered the fixed rate to a 1.95 percent, the DNB now does the same.
We are ready to fight. This is a fight about fixed interest rate that is good for consumers. We have decided to match the rate to Nordea. Therefore we will lower the rate from 1.99 to 1.95 on loans for the customer groups ‘young’ and ‘saga’ of Thursday morning, Vice president Even Westerveld in DNB Bank said to VG. The new rate applies to loans with bond for three years.
The reason for DNB lowering the fixed rate is that Nordea Tuesday cut interest rates for customers of Nordea Premium and Private Banking customers under 34 years who are offered the lowest fixed interest rate.
DNB also matches Nordea fixed interest rate for five-year maturity (2.30 percent) and ten-year term (2.95 percent).
