The engine drivers’ strike means that no trains run on the Østfold rail, and on Monday morning there were so many travelers taking the bus that a large part of the passengers had to wait for the next departure.

On Saturday the strike was stepped up with 47 engine drivers  , and a total of 118 engine drivers are now on strike. This escalation of the strike means that NSB have had to cancel the local trains on the Østfold rail.

The region trains do not make any stops at Moss, Vestby, Ås, Ski or Kolbotn either and the eastern line is also affected.

According to NRK, there were so many people who wanted to go with the Nettbuss departing from Askim at 6 in the morning that 20 people was left outside the bus and had to wait for the next bus departing from Askim. The bus company is not going to expand their schedule with more buses and departures because they could then be considered to be strike breakers.
