There were 1,000 fewer unemployed in April, according to Nav. Unemployment is now at 3.1%.

There were many who started in labor market this month so that the sum of the unemployed and job seekers on measures fell by only 200 people, according the Navs seasonally adjusted figures.
“Unemployment is falling for the second consecutive month, but it is too early to say whether or not this is due to an improvement in the labor market. The large regional differences in unemployment continue to develop, as we have seen over the past year,” said Labor and Welfare Director Sigrun Vågeng.
