The number of passengers at Moss Airport Rygge continues to decrease. In July  11 percent fewer went from the airport than at the same time last year,  the newspaper Rakkestad Avis writes.
According to the newspaper traveled 170,000 passengers from Rygge in July this year, 21,000 fewer than in July last year.

This is the continuation of a downward trend for the airport in 2016. From the beginning of the year until July, 900,000 passengers have used the airport Rygge, 55,000 fewer than in the same period last year.

Part of the explanation may be that Ryanair has begun the process of reducing its number of flights at  the airport. In a few months the Irish budget airline will only use  Gardermoen and Torp for its flight from Norway.

Torp Sandefjord Airport  is also experiencing a decline in its number of travelers, according to the newspaper.
This contrasts with the  airports of the state company Avinor, which has experienced a growth of 1.4 per cent in the number of passengers  compared to last year.
