The accused terrorist engineer who sued his former employer Aker Solution has drawn the matter.

A 49 years old man was suspended and later dismissed by his employer Aker Solutions on 11th of May after he was charged under Penal Code section 147c to have spread information that is suitable for those who want to commit a terrorist act.

He then went to court because he believed the resignation was invalid.

The case was going up for Asker and Bærum District Court in November, but the man has chosen to drop the lawsuit.

– I can confirm that the case in which a former employee sued Aker Solutions for invalid dismissal, was withdrawn by the plaintiff in mid-October.

The case has been dismissed from Asker and Bærum District Court on October 18th. We have no further comments on this, says press officer Anne Cecilie Lund-Andersen from Aker Solutions to news agency NTB.

49 years old was released in June last year, when the Police Security Service said it was no longer a risk of destruction of evidence.
