Four out of ten employees in the staffing industry come from the ranks of the unemployed. That means 32,000 people avoided staying unemployed,  NHO Service says.

An employee survey  made by NHO Service shows that 40 percent were unemployed and 19 percent where students when they got a job in the staffing industry, according to Head of Trade, Even Hagelien.
– In a situation where the unemployment is rising, it is of interest that so many people use the staffing industry as a gateway to the labor market, says Hagelien.
He says the study shows that 40 percent of those who work in the industry are doing it because it is perceived as a good gateway to the labor market, and an equal number believe the threshold for getting a job in the staffing industry is lower than in the rest of the labor market.
In these times, where the unemployment is rising,  Hagelien points out that it is important to work together with Nav in an efficient way so that tasks and resources are allocated as efficiently as possible in order to avoid people being unemployed.
