Continued growth for Ryanair

Ryanair continues to grow strongly even though they claim no longer being able to afford their own base in Norway. In May  only six  out of 100 seats  on average were vacant.

The company reports that passenger growth in May this year was at 12 percent compared with the same month last year.
The airline carried a total of 10.6 million passengers in May this year, compared to 9.5 million in may 2015. Passenger growth on an annual basis has gone up by 16 percent compared to May last year.
The cabin factor in May of this year went up by 2 percentage points to 94 percent compared with may, 2015.
In comparison, Norwegian had a growth in passenger traffic at 19 percent in May, and transported approximately 2.4 million passengers, Dagens Næringsliv writes .
