The two-day budget conference of the government started Tuesday at the Prime Minister’s Office. There the government will make and finish the main framework and priorities of the budget.
At 9 o’clock the government started with its last “tugs of war” on the 2017 budget.
Just before the meeting Prime Minister Erna Solberg and Minister of Finance Siv Jensen met the press.
– This is the last part of the government’s budgeting process , Solberg began.
The government usually holds two big budget conferences on the state budget, one in March and one in August.
The final draft for the budget this year will be submitted October 6, and Right and the Progress Party needs the votes of KrF or Left to gain a majority in parliament.
