The price of North Sea oil rose to its highest level so far this year Monday after President Vladimir Putin agreed to limit Russia’s oil production.
In the afternoon, North Sea oil traded for 53.4 kr per barrel. This was the highest price since last October.
In a speech at an energy conference in Istanbul Monday, Putin said that Russia is ready to limit oil production to achieve higher prices on the world market.
