North Sea oil was Wednesday traded above $ 52 a barrel, the highest level since last fall.

Meanwhile, American light oil sold for $ 51 a barrel, which was the highest level since July 2015.
One of the reasons for price rise is attacks and sabotage directed against oil facilities in Nigeria. This has led to a sharp reduction in the Nigerian oil exports, which have limited supply on the world market.
The rebel group Niger Delta Avengers – Niger Delta vigilantes – say they exploded a new oil well this Wednesday. The well was part the international oil giant Chevron.
