John Fredriksen wants to sell part of Marine Harvest

John Fredriksen wants to sell 8.4 percent of the fish farming company Marine Harvest. With the current exchange rate, this represents a value of almost NOK 5 billion.
Geveran Trading, controlled by the Norwegian-Cypriot investor, will sell 37.8 million shares in Marine Harvest,   a stock exchange announcement informs on Tuesday afternoon. The company owns more than 117 million shares in farming giant, which represents around 26 percent of the shares of the company.
According to the web paper, E24, an eventual sale will amount to NOK 4.8 billion at Tuesday’s share price of NOK 126. Over the past year, Marine Harvest’s shares has appreciated by 37 percent.
