During the upcoming year, Kaefer Energy will employ at least 150 people in its oil service business.

Recently, the company, which operates within the field of insulation, scaffolding and surface treatment (ISO), celebrates their 100th anniversary and wishes to welcome 100 new employees in 2018. The company has won more contracts than expected and announces even more hires, says Stavanger Aftenblad.

– “Things have really panned out for us. Earlier this year, we announced that we would employ 100 new employees during the year, but due to more projects, we already see that we must add to that figure by 50 – at least,” says CEO Bård Bjørshol.

In May, Kaefer entered an operating alliance, “Asset Integrity Alliance”, with Aker BP, Prezioso Linebuilding and Force Technology. The Alliance will be used for the maintenance contract the companies have with Aker BP.

For Kaefer Energys part, the contract is valid through 2025. The contract is worth more than 200 million kroner a year for the company.

In addition, Kaefer has secured important contracts with Equinor, including the Johan Sverdrup field.
