Lerøy Seafood had a turnover of nearly 4.3 billion in the third quarter of this year, and noted it was the biggest quarterly profit of the corporation’s history.
‘We achieved the highest turnover, and the highest operating profits for the third quarter, ever in the Group’s history’, said CEO Henning Beltestad of Lerøy.
Livestock Group reported a before tax profit and fair value adjustments, the fish in cages, at 534 million in the third quarter, compared with a scant 231 million in the same quarter last year.
Operating profit totaled 481 million before value adjustments. It is markedly inferior to TDN Finans’ estimates of 675 million, according to newspaper Dagens Næringsliv.
Leroy bought in August up to respectively 67 and 74 percent in Havfisk and Norway Seafoods. Ownership contributed to the operating profit before fair value adjustments up 13 million kroner.
