Coca-Cola was in Oslo District Court, and the soda producer,O. Mathisen, must temporarily suspend the sale of the Jalla XXXXXX.

The district court is of the opinion that O. Mathisen had violated the Marketing Code for good business practice reported E24 news.

It is not the name the court reacted to, but the fact that O. Mathisen used the conflict they had with Coca-Cola for their own gain.

O. Mathisen is behind the brands, Tøyen-Cola and lemonade,as until recently called Jallasprite. The name of the lemonade led to Coca-Cola taking legal action because of the similarity with the brand name ‘Sprite’.

In an attempt to avoid trial,O. Mathisen changed the name of the lemonade to JallaXXXXXX, but Coca-Cola would not accept this as it appeared that the word Sprite was the only thing censored.
