New payment solution from Google is launched in Norway

Google Pay was launched in Norway on Tuesday. People who have Android phones can now make payments on their mobiles.

Norway is the 25th country in the world where Google Pay has been launched, the company writes in a press release.

To use the solution, you must first register your Visa card in Google Pay.

“If you pay with your Visa card in Google Pay, you can rest assured that your card data is secure and that payments are faster and easier,” says Jens Nes, Norway’s Visa Manager.

Google Pay is initially available to  Visa customers in Nordea, Storebrand Bank, Sparebanken SØR, Monobank and Revolut.

From next year, the solution will be available to customers in Sbanken.

It is possible to use this payment solutions at all outlets that accept contactless payment.
