From next summer the airline Norwegian will create four direct flights between Spain and the United States.
The routes will go from Barcelona to New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Fort Lauderdale. Startup is in June next year.
Spain is already a big priority for the flight company and it has now established a base in Barcelona for the new long-haul operation.
– Many Spaniards choose to fly on Norwegian’s Spanish domestic routes and routes to other parts of Europe.
An increasing number of Americans also fly with us to Europe, and we look forward to welcoming even more travelers on both sides of the Atlantic, says CEO Bjorn Kjos.
Norwegian launches also a new route between Copenhagen and San Francisco from next spring.
