Oil production higher than expected

1.4 million barrels of oil were produced on average per day on the Norwegian shelf in June. The production was 6 percent above the forecast of NPD.

Oil production is around eight percent less than last year, show the preliminary production figures which were presented on Wednesday.
Production of oil, natural liquid gas and condensates show a decline of about 140,000 barrels, or seven percent, compared with May last year. The total  of 1.8 million barrels were broken down as 1.4 million barrels of oil, 342,000 barrels of liquefied natural gas and 34,000 barrels of condensate on average per day in June.
