This year Norwegians will  purchase goods and services online for more than 90 billion, and half of them are now using their mobiles for online shopping,  an analysis by the online payment company DIBS shows.

The analysis shows that the Norwegian online market for products and services has increased by 75 percent over the last five years from 51.5 billion kroner in 2012 to an estimated 90.6 billion kroner this year.

Almost half of the users have adopted new payment services like Vipps, mcash or MobilePay. The analysis is based on figures from more than 15,000 Norwegian online stores and a Nordic survey.

For the first time in 10 years, the percentage of those who have shopped in foreign online stores has decreased slightly.
