The value of new orders for the construction industry fell by 22 percent from the second to the third quarter of this year.
Since the third quarter of last year, new orders fell by 21 percent, according to figures from Statistics Norway (SSB).
The order backlog for the entire construction industry rose by 2 per cent from the second to third quarter.
Compared with the third quarter last year there is a total backlog of 9 percent, mainly due to the stock of housing projects.
In Rogaland, Hordaland and Sogn and Fjordane there has been a decline in building reserves compared to the third quarter last year, while the rest of the country was increasing.
