Poll: More people wants to have more time off than higher wages

Nearly half of the respondents in a nationwide poll, say they would rather have more time off than higher wages.
More thn 44 percent say they would rather have more time off than higher wages, about 35 percent state that they disagree, and 19.8 percent answered that they did not know.
More time off is most popular with men (47 percent), while a little over 41 percent of women also state this as their preference.
For the people in the age group of 30 to 64 years of age  more people want more time off than higher wages. People aged 18 to 29 years do not want more free time than higher wages.
In all the regions of Norway more people wanted more leisure time than more pay, apart from the Oslo region.
The eastern part of Norway is the part of Norway where more time for leisure is most popular (49, 4 percent), closely followed by the West Coast.
A total of 1,005 persons participated in the survey, which was conducted by Infact for the Future in our hands.
