Siemens to cut 6,900 jobs worldwide

The German industrial group Siemens is going to cut around 6,900 jobs worldwide.

 

The cuts will hit hardest over Siemens’ fossil energy departments.

Around 2,600 jobs in the field of gas and power will be removed in Germany.. 1,100 other jobs are to be eliminated in Europe and around 1,800 in the United States.
