Siv Jensen mocked AP (the Labor Party) and its warnings against dropping FRP into government offices, when she spoke at the opening of the party’s strategy conference in Bergen.

“Do you remember the bogeyman that AP drew of us during the campaign in 2013? We were not management experts, we did not have the capability to take responsibility, nor did we have skilled enough people, and most warned Stoltenberg that we would blow the economy”, said Jensen this Saturday morning. “But we manage well, even in difficult times. All the reports show that the Norwegian economy is at a turning point. There are more and more signs that things are getting better now. We do not blow the economy; we actually manage well, even in challenging times”.

The Strategy Conferences in Bergen and Tromsø this weekend include political workshops where the participating parties will develop new policies for the coming four years.

The program committee, led by Per Sandberg, has just come with a proposal for an action plan for 2017 to 2021. The final program is first decided at the Congress this spring.
