Solberg joined a wave for the Hydro pilot plant for aluminum

Behind dark aviators  Prime Minister Erna Solberg took part in a wave, along with other people gathered for the official announcement  of Norwegian Hydro’s new pilot project for aluminum at Karmøy. – The green shift is underway,  the Prime Minister says.

You need to  have some fun at work as well, said a humorous Solberg NTB after sharing what she calls an historic moment with Hydro employees at Karmøy Wednesday morning.
Hydro had then announced that the formal decision to build the so-called technology pilot at Karmøy has now been made. Enova will contribute around 1.6 billion. The overall cost is estimated to be at 4.3 billion.
– This is a huge investment. It is the largest investment in mainland Norway in ten years.  Climate projects with aluminum production taps into the form of production who makes the smallest carbon footprint in the world, says Solberg
– This investment shows that the green shift is underway, she says.
