Soon you can pay for articles with Vipps

Tired of bumping your head in  a newspaper paywall? From this summer  the media  may  adopt DNB`s mobile app Vipps to let readers pay for individual articles.

DNB is now working to put in place an application program for shopping online with Vipps,  business developer Thang Manh Tran says to the magazine Journalisten.

This means that even the media will be able to use Vipps to sell both individual articles and passports. The prerequisite is that the media choose to buy the DNB solution.

– We want to simplify different payment situations.  Like online shopping. This is quite difficult today, both for the store and for consumers. The goal is to make it easy, says Tran.
