Housing prices continue to rise abnormally high. Led by a very strong development in eastern Norway, prices were up 0.8 percent in June after seasonal adjustments.

– June was yet another month of strong price growth in the Norwegian housing market. Over the past ten years, only in 2009 did we have a stronger rise nationwide in June and the first half of the year. House price growth is primarily driven by developments in eastern Norway, says CEO Christian Dreyer Vammervold in Real Estate Norway.

House prices are now 7.3 per cent higher than 12 months ago, according to the latest figures from Property Norway.
