The world needs 31,000 new pilots during coming years

Global airlines will need an average of 31,000 new pilots over the next 20 years, according to the aircraft manufacturer Boeing.

There will also be a great need for more cabin crew in the near future. The request for staffing in aerospace industry is going forward by Boeing’s annual forecast staffing.
Up until 2035 there will be a need for as many as 814,000 new cabin crew and 679,000 new technicians, according to the forecast. In the same period Boeing is expecting that the number of aircraft in the world will increase by about 40,000.
Growth is expected to be highest in the Asia Pacific region where low-cost airline is becoming increasingly popular.
