The Norwegian aid organizations work in Vietnam impresses Crown Prince and Princess, which Friday will conclude their visit in this country.
Much of the second day of the visit was added to Hué and surrounding areas, where Crown Princess Mette-Marit and Crown Prince Haakon visited projects run by Football for all, Norwegian People's Aid and Norwegian Church Aid. They had played some soccer with the kids, planted a tree and not least been with a controlled detonation of a cluster bomb. Then it was lunch with representatives of the Norwegian aid organizations. Crown Prince Haakon told the press that it's awesome to see all the work that was done, not least to see how the Norwegian funds are used. The money from TV campaign in 2011 went to Norwegian People's Aid, and the crown prince thought it was very nice to see a concrete example of the result of the TV campaign:
- Some of the funds have gone to a project to clean football fields of explosives.
