Crown Princess Mette - Marit was served an edible bouquet and ice cream with thyme , birch and spruce and rosehip flavor when she visited Geitmyra food culture center for kids Thursday.
The visit at Geitmyra was associated with the United Nations Environment Day held on June 5.
During the visit, the Crown Princess confessed that she had not a dab hand at cooking , and it mostly went in taco .
During the meetings with students on the food Cultural center did the crown princess learn more about both organic farming, biodiversity and sustainable food.
She got to taste both timian ice cream, birch and spruce ice cream and rosehip ice cream , including thyme ice apparently fell in the best taste. Also organically grown honey was on the menu.
To all excess did the Crown Princess also get presented an edible bouquet when she arrived at the Center. The bouquet consisted of leek flower, chive flowers, lovage , strawberry flowers, tarragon , oregano , peppermint, løkurt , rowan leaves, mountain mint, kale flowers and lady's mantle .
The Crown Princess took with herthe bouquet to Skaugum . Where it ends up perhaps as an accessory to Friday tacokos together with the organic eggs she got.
