The blind cross-country skier Helge Flo think it went a little slow with Crown Prince Haakon as a companion during the a at Beitostølen Saturday.
The royals enjoyed themselves in the sun on the race Saturday morning. Crown Prince Haakon, Crown Princess Mette-Marit(photo) and Princess Martha Louise lined up as companions.
Flo (46) is former top runner in cross country and remains an active skier. He was accompanied by the Crown Prince in the 20-kilometer course, and the two crossed the finish line in 1 hour and 17 minutes.
While the Crown Prince stated that he was a little tired, said Flo that it had gone at such a leisurely pace. After crossing the finish line, he stated, jokingly, that had just gone for a walk.
