Crown Prince Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit is currently on an official visit to the U.S., and occasionally a packed program they also managed to go to a concert when Kvelertak played at Slim's Music Club in San Francisco.
Royal couple took their time to talk to the guys in the band backstage, and laughter was resolved.
- Ever since the king to meet Crown Prince and Princess, Kvelertak writes on his Facebook page. Sandnes band is currently on a major tour of the U.S. and Canada. Wednesday night they play in Los Angeles.
Norwegian Kvelertak also received visits by famous American musicians during the concert in San Francisco. Among them was Robb Flynn from Machine Head and James Hetfield, frontman and guitarist of Metallica. Also, the crown prince had a chat with Metallica Hetfield, something he pleased embarked message along with a photo of the two together.
- There were many Kvelertak fans at the concert at Slim's. Here is the Crown Prince of Janes Hetfield, lead singer of Metallica, he writes. And adds after a moment: Sorry N'en in James. Early in the morning here. Should never happen again.
Wednesday and Thursday continues Crown Prince's visit to the San Francisco area. A common thread here is the follow-up of Norwegian projects. For Haakon will be enough extra special to visit old haunts again. He studied at the University of California at Berkeley in 1996-1999.
The official U.S. visit ends Thursday.
