Christmas Preparations are well underway at the Royal Palace and on Thursday were the royal couple and Crown Prince family lined up for for the traditional Christmas photography.
Despite the fact that there are six degrees and no snow in downtown Oslo, there were no lack of Christmas spirit at the Palace. Princess Ingrid Alexandra and Prince Sverre Magnus demonstrated the decorating of the Christmas tree and put up for public shooting. The former activity fell enough in most tastes.
Queen Sonja wore her Telemark costume, while the gentlemen, including Prince Sverre Magnus, uses a dark suit. The images were taken in the red lounge at the Palace, where also previous Christmas shooting took place in 2011. Since then have the lounge been refurbished .
Princess Ingrid Alexandra wore a blue dress in velvet, while Crown Princess Mette-Marit uses Hardanger costume. She seemed otherwise to be in fine shape after sickness absence which formally expired on Tuesday. It is expected that she is back and follow up all duties and responsibilities in the new year.
