Donatas Lukosevicius (34) is sentenced to 18 years’ detention with a minimum term of ten years for killing Monika Sviglinskaja (8) at Sotra.

The judgment is in line with the statement of Attorney Benedicte Hordnes.
The case was initially dismissed as a suicide after the eight year old was found dead in her home in November 2011.
After efforts from both Monika’s mother, Kristina Sviglinskaja and notifier Robin Schaefer in the police, the case was resumed. In October 2014, Kristina’s ekssamboer, Donatas Lukosevicius, was arrested and charged with murder.
