Prosecutors claim 18 years of detention with a minimum term of ten years for Donatas Lukosevicius, who has been accused of killing the eight year old Monika Sviglinskaja in 2011.

“It’s completely a unprovoked attack against a small child, with no aggravation and no self-defense. I think it is very close to the limits of premeditated murder. He has had plenty of time to think about it,” said District Attorney Alana Hordnes in the case procedures.

She described the murder as particularly brutal and committed under especially aggravating circumstances.
“She is small, eight years olds, she is alone at home, and she must have been very scared in the minutes before her death,” said the prosecutor.

She was of the opinion that everything indicted was done in a completely heartless fashion and that the whole is no doubt that the requirements of specific aggravating circumstances are met.
Later Wednesday, the prosector Stig Nilsen is holding their session, while the defendant’s lawyer, Aasmund Sandland, is holding their session on Thursday.
