20-years-old from Uppsala wanted by Interpol for the Majorstua murder

The police have sent out an arrest warrant for a 20-years-old Swedish citizen from Uppsala. He is linked to both the murder and robbery at Majorstua on Monday. The man is wanted across the world through Interpol.

– We are searching for a specific person who is charged with both the murder and the robbery. He is wanted internationally through Interpol. It regards a Swedish citizen. He is 20 years old and comes from Uppsala, Police Inspector Grete Lien Metlid tells at a press briefing at the Police Headquarters at Grønland in Oslo on Sunday afternoon.

She states that the police are considering providing the name of the suspected Swede sometime on Sunday.

According to the police, the man went to Sweden on Monday, and it is likely that he has left the country in favour of another location somewhere in the World.

– We have reason to believe that he left Norway after the murder and robbery on Monday and that he travelled back to Sweden initially. We, of course, take into consideration that he has left Sweden and is now to be found someplace else in the World.
