A 23-years-old man from Stavanger is charged with four accounts of rape of an eleven years old boy. The boy is a friend of the accused man’s little brother according to the indictment.

The abuses committed against the eleven years old allegedly took place in the autumn of 2016 and during the following spring, writes Rogalands Avis.

Defence lawyer for the man, Ørjan Eskeland, says that the 23-years-old does not acknowledge culpability.

According to the charge, the man allegedly used his cell phone to access a website containing comics and/or short stories describing sexual abuse against children.

The trial will come before the Stavanger District Court on September 10th and is set to last for three days.

Hilde Elisabeth Fjeld is appointed as counsel for the alleged victim and will make any compensatory claims on behalf of the boy.

State Attorney Birgitte Budal Løvlund will be the prosecutor in the case.

Løvlund has made reservations to request impounding of the alleged perpetrator’s phone.
